Are the classes to become a vet assistant (getting a certificate) hard?

I’ve looked at the classes to get a certificate for a vet assistant, they look pretty difficult, im just scared im not smart enough to get through it. Do you have to be really book smart to pass it all? If anyone has taken these, let me know.
Introduction to Veterinary Technology
Diagnostic Lab Procedures I
Introduction to Nursing and Surgical Procedures
Animal Anatomy and Physiology
Veterinary Pathology and Diseases

Any helpful info would really help. Its not A LOT of classes to take, but they can still be quite difficult.
This is in a Tech School, and I know Tech schools are really fast paced and hard, and this school is in quarters, so it would be a full year (includng the summer) to get through it all..so Im just wondering if anyone that isnt gifted went through this and was able to pass it. I really love animals and hope this is the right path for me.

THANKS. (dont answer if you dont have experience or are rude)

My friend was going to be a vet and was doing fine…. until she got to the Animal Anatomy class which requires you to be able to cut open baby animals (bunnies, kittens, puppies, etc).
:(

Good luck with whatever you decide!!!!
