yea. In the old days i couldn’t get the treatment i needed because i didn’t have insurnce. i changed jobs and finally got insurance. now i can’t get the treatment i ned because someone in nebraska won’t give my doctor permission to give me the treatment i need. i heard newt gingrich state that with universal healthcare a government beaurocrat will decide who gets to live or die. how is that worse than some 26 year old with no medical training getting to decide who lives or dies?

So, you say you don’t have the money to pay for your own health care, but you think that ‘UNI-CARE’ wouldn’t be a good thing? My wife has cancer. Her hospital bills are in the hundreds of thousands. She was ‘covered’ at her job. As soon as she was ill,the ins. co dragged it’s feet. The delay almost cost her life ! Why the delay? A paperwork snafu,and resulting mistakes resulted in the ins. co saying that she wasn’t currently covered. Now she is on Medicare because once she lost her job, she also lost ALL ins. coverage just when she needed it the most ! Would you be in favor of a ‘cheaper’ alternative to UNI-CARE? How about we just dig a big pit out behind the hospitals to throw the tens of millions with no health care ins. into? Will you ever have the hundreds of thousands of dollars to cover your “end of life” care, or will you just end up in the “pit”?
