We’ve removed all of the rosebushes from our back yard after too many trips to the vet. We had to choose between pointy dogs and pointy flowers…
the music is sooo horibble lmao
I would much prefer a happy story with a tragic beginning to the other way around
Poor baby…I’m glad she’s ok now.
my old whiipet attactked my greyhound to defend my sis…… but my greyhound loved my sis…idk but they both died 6 years ago so they rip… i got i a whippet puupy now
Lovely Whippet. I have two and they can nip when they are running. Its just something they do sometimes. Beautiful dogs though and in three years we have only had 2 vet visits. They are gentle as lambs around people and so affectionate.
In fact I am a moderate Republican and I own a ranch and a whippet and many dogs and take care of wild life… Its called intelligence… I never cared for hippies
I have never been a hippy in my life..so much you know.
that’s because you are a stupid hippy
I found this sad
After going to the vet for yet another little stitch up on my whippet he said they are as easy to rip as tissue paper!! How did they ever manage to be hunting dogs? Wouldnt be without a whippet though!!!
After reading the comments I do not want one of these dogs to wimpy and cost to much in vet bills I’ll stick to the hardier breeds
ur makin me crazy with dem titles.

Don’t get me started on whippet accidents. Domino, a childhood whippet, tripped on the driveway and tore a hole in his inner thigh. Joey, his bud, ran into something and went in for surgery to have it removed. He had a shunt under his elbowto keep the thing drained. Then my parent’s Whippet, Criket, attacked a wasp in 2006. Had a huge allergic reaction. Her entire face bloated to twice its size. Took 10 years to figure out she was allergic to wasp stings!
poor lil guy..
i have a parson russell who loves to outrun other dogs.. he continuesly rips his paws
What music is it?
It’s ironic that I stumbled across this video today. My whippet, Duke, just spent the night in the hospital. He was running from grass onto pavement on our property showing off in front of his new brother, August, and he stumbled, and used his front wrists as brakes! Fortunately he did not break either leg, but he exposed the tendons and burst an artery. $1,000 later…
thanks for the info!
My 2 Whippets got bitten by 2 different dogs on the same day. One at the dog park and then when we were at the vet’s getting ready to staple her side, a tech’s dog came in off leash and bit my other Whippet on the shoulder ! Arggh. Both healing well. And act ok with other dogs luckily.
looks familiar
Sounds familiar, I just got insurance for my two whippets after 2 too many accidents that led us to the ER. They are like kids, with all the goofing around they do…”someone’s bound to get hurt”!!!
Jackets are good, but what about pants? Do they get to wear pants too?
Hi I make them wear jackets now to save my check book.
We have two whippets, the older of whom (ironically named “Lucky”) looks like the Frankenstein monster after all the accidents he’s had! He needed stitches in two places after playing with a neighbor’s five-month-old puppy, for goodness sake! I’ve just decided they’re made of rice paper, and have insured them both against injuries to protect my poor little checkbook! They are sweet, but very fragile!
