Dont use sargent flea chemical product it killed my animal and almost killed the other!!!

I have 2-week old kittens and their stray mother, all with fleas. I was curious whether I could bathe them at this early age with soap and water (and mom, too) to help get rid of them, but was getting conflicting answers. Watching this video from a good source, looks like I can do this to help them.
