For many of the worlds endangered species it is too late. Either the gene pool is too small, or their habitat is so far gone that those bred in captivity can never be released back into the wild. There is one species of animal, which confronts both of these predicaments: the Orang-utan. Its habitat has been devastated by humanity. So much so that only two small viable pockets remain in the wild. In JUST HANGING ON, we travel to the island of Kalimantan in Indonesia, joining the worlds largest Orang-utan rehabilitation project to see first hand the battle they face trying to stop the extinction of this species. We also travel to what is left of the islands pristine rain forest and see stunning pictures of totally wild Orang-utans in their natural habitat. The documentary contains the only film available of an orang-utan giving birth.
do they throw their shit at people? if so then they are just like us.
this is very sad we need to help out thesse are really nice animals
The organizations that are trying to save the Orangutans need to buy the land up before the loggers do, the Orangutans need a place to live, if they have ahome they can survive. I can not believe it is hopeless for the Orangutans. We all need to get involved, and ONE person can make a difference. Maybe it will be your dollar that gives them enough to save the Orangutans……
i love what the man has done to this world. killing chimpanzees and orangutans is awesome. i would like to be able to kill a whole bunch of these disgusting creatures, starting with the babies.
i hate what the man has done to this world.
They are the most fabulous animals on Earth!
We do need to help, even $1.00 helps them to survive. If we abandone them and don’t help we will regret it…..
They are just the most wonderful human like animals! how can we not want to help save them? Animals are just so innocent..
