@96katja LoL, I don’t seen a problem with this… I really don’t. Its great you have trained your husky and it turned out great… but like humans, all huskies have different temperaments. I don’t know if you know anything about training dogs… but one trick doesn’t apply to all. This guy is VERY knowledgeable about the pack order that huskies typically follow and showed a great video.

@chinito15gwapito Accually Husky’s re VERY related to wolves along with malamutes and wolf hybrids (because they can be 90% wolf) and Northern unuits. (which i fail at spelling). Please do some reasearch. im getting one (:

Just got a husky myself and am researching how to train my Aria. I’ve trained a couple of other dogs before but never a husky so challenge!!
Husky’s and malamutes are no closer to wolves than chihuahua, regardless of their similar appearance to wolves. Do some actual research.
@saffyre00 they are working dogs and need tonnes of exercise if you want a happy obedient husky. They respect a worthy pack leader.
@andzikos it actually does not strangle the dog if put on properly and used properly. When he corrects the husky, if you notice he doesn’t pull the leash, he gently tugs on it just enough to get his attention (the correction should only slightly move the shoulders of the dog). The collar he is using is a training collar (more commonly known as a choke collar -though, like i said, will not hurt the dog if used properly).

I have an husky too! I did never trained her like this and she´s much better!
This guy is crazy! How can you strangle your dog! I don’t use this kind of collar and my husky knows how to walk properly! This video should be called “How NOT to train a husky dog. This a very harmful video. People, please do not use this method on your huskies! Normal collar or gentle leader is sufficient.
My Husky has kinda yellow eyes,a great coat, oh and he gets along with my Dad’s German Sheperd.
I have a husky….shes beautiful difficult alert smart and sneaky lol..but so adorable…I love this dog but training her is a hard deal she is so stubborn and loves to eat my house……the collar your using seems to help yours going to check into this and while we give her treats she still is difficult to train properly…never ever ever let her go she got loose once and omg…she bounced around the whole neighborhood the kid loved it and love her but so scarey…thanks for the tips

@saffyre00 This trainer seems to be using a check-collar for his Sibe. I use the same for mine — very effective. But DO read up on how to use this collar. They have to be put on the dog correctly AND positioned correctly (high under the jaw, as this trainer has done, not low around the base of the neck). If you do those two things, you will only need to make VERY small adjustments. The goal with this collar is to CHECK the behavior, not choke the dog.
I’m getting a pure-white Siberian Husky and this taught me alot since I have heard they are very energetic and like to tug on the leash. Thanks

My father loves wolves and every time he sees a picture of a wolf or an image of a wolf he just stares at it, it’s like he was a wolf in his previous life or something
Anyway, if I showed up with your dog in front of him he wouldn’t let the dog go. He would pamper and play with it all day for the rest of his life LOL

@123muzzie123 My room mate has a Sheperd husky mix that we always let off leash walking in the woods and such, but he’ll chase small animals still, so you have to wait for him to come back sometimes. In public I wouldn’t risk it at all.
Mind you the dog I speak of has no formal training, he just doesnt wanna run away
lol im planning to get a husky and so i clicked this video and its funny cuz i just move here to florida.. But yeah huskies are beautiful, and have great companionship and yes they can live florida. they have 2 coats it protects them from heat and cold
