my turtle, a russian tortise has a couple lumps ( not sure if they are lumps that you are talking about or just lumps) on the back of his body ebtween his tail and back legs. they aren’t very round-ish. please tell me if this is normal; he has nothing on his face. also, is it ok if i bathe him every now and then? his shell gets sometimes dusty (from the bedding in his terarium) so i like to make him clean. plus i sometimes get some water on his face and he uses his arms to wipe his eyes. thanks!
my turtle, a young Australian murry short neck, Emydura macquarii, is begining to have the rim of his shell pale, is this a sign of him getting a skin infection, or is he just growing (and i’m just not noticing this)?

@XIomaraLovesJustin it means thin pieces of the scales are coming off. Like us with dry skin. But what she said is incorrect too, a few of my turtles shells shed every once in a while! its natural! How else will there shell grow!

just adopt it and make it feel better! Also 0:53 is totally incorrect. Some of my turtles are not shy at all and when i pick them up they dont get scared they just keep scratching me trying to get out! And those are my healthies ones!
