My tabby is not mainecoon in any way. My cat before her was a solid grey male who weighed 19 lbs. Again not overweight and not mainecoone at all.

Huh. 7-14 for a female isn’t that much. I have a female tabby cat who is 16 lbs. She not overweight either.

The current trend among Maine Coon breeders are exceptionally large cats. I just got a kitten from a breeder where the father of the kitten is currently 35 pounds. This series of videos was a nice idea, but this presenter is clearly out of touch with Maine Coons and is not passing along accurate information.
